YPO, ESPO, NEPO, CBC - Working in partnership

2015 will mark the end of the Pro5 brand but an exciting new era for public sector buying organisations: YPO, ESPO, NEPO and CBC, in response to key objectives outlined in the National Procurement Strategy. With strategic partnerships and collaborative working becoming more of a standard process across the public sector, this decision will allow founding members YPO, ESPO, CBC and NEPO the opportunity to engage more widely with other organisations. Collaboration with Crown Commercial Service (CCS) will continue to play an integral part of partnership working in the best interests of the public sector.

The way frameworks and tenders are handled will remain unchanged. With the public sector more focussed than ever on making efficiencies and delivering savings, opportunities for collaboration will continue to increase.

Plans are currently in place for the development of a national public sector procurement forum to share best practice and continue to bring more collaboration to the sector. Any updates to this will be published on the website so customers and suppliers are fully aware. Further information can also be found on our FAQs page.
